  I marvelled at the decor at Barnsley FC, it was designed by the famous architect David O'inbred, there was a roof! I've never seen such extravagance in a Yorkshire Championship football stadium. The food was recomended to me by a good friend Adam Hammill;there was a three course meal consisting of a starter of pie, a main corse of pie and a dessert of apple pie. But the apple wasn't to my taste, I always make the effort to try out the tropical food served at Barnsley, this so called, Granny Smith's tasted like my Granny Smith after twelve pints of this so called John Smiths (some kind of fruit maybe). There was some 1912 Barnsley Bitter on ice, and some backpocket Polos on offer (which are definetely an acquired taste). I was shocked to see that the flat cap waitors hadn't refilled the malt vinegar dispensers. It seemed to be a 'dine out' ordeal whereby guests were obliged to leave the sandwich shop with their pies and eat at their reserved seats within the stadium. One point to improve would definetley be to serve peas with pies in the future, as some of the football fans were outraged with this. There's no excuse for Flitcroft, he has said in countless interviews that he wants to bring more to the club but has only succeded in buying himself an upmarket gillet. SORT IT OUT TARN! (flitcroft). I reiterate pie without peas is unforgivable!
